Governance, wired in

Not a policy document. The run path itself.

Every control below is enforced inside the execution engine, not written in a policy binder. This is Enterprise-in-the-Loop: people initiate and sign off at every checkpoint on the org chart; agents execute the work in between.

Effect-once execution

Retries, resumes, and escalations never fire a side effect twice. No duplicate sends, no double transactions.

Human-in-the-loop gates

Approval gates are inserted before any high-risk or external action. No consequential step runs without sign-off.

PII-governed egress

Every outbound send is tiered, masked, and logged with per-send audit rows. Data protection stays a platform invariant.

Default-deny access

Per-tenant RBAC ceilings. A composed automation can never escalate its own privilege.

Tenant isolation

Per-tenant data isolation with refusal semantics. The engine refuses to run when tenancy is unresolved.

Operational brakes

Killswitch, circuit breakers, metering, and pricing controls. The operator can always stop, bound, and account for agent activity.

Separation of duties, inside the loop

The agent that drafts is never the one that evaluates or approves. The final signature is always human.

Guardrails no agent can edit

Approval gates, quality bars, and the audit ledger live structurally outside any agent's write scope. The fences are not the agents' to move.
